The beef you will be purchasing was born on our farm, raised by our cows, and fed out in our pasture. No hormones given to the animals. The biggest advantage in buying local beef is that you know where your beef comes from, 90% of the meat in the supermarket does NOT tell where it was born, raised, and processed and even if the package does say that it is a product of the USA, that may not be accurate. Also there will be nothing added to your beef, it will be 100% BEEF, no water, no preservatives, and no pink slime.

South Polls are bred to be slick-haired, small-framed cows with emphasis placed on high fertility, longevity, and calm disposition. South Polls are bred to excel on a grass based grazing system. Ultrasound and actual carcass data on the South Poll tells us that they are as tender, or more tender, than straight bred English cattle. The South Poll is a maternal composite combining four breeds: Angus, Hereford, Senepol, and Barzona.
